John was an Irish poet, author, priest, and Hegelian philosopher. He was a native Irish speaker, and as an author is best known for popularising Celtic spirituality. His book Anam Cara (Soul Friend) was recently the most important and meaningful book I have picked up in years and his introduction into the MYSTERY of it all has inspired me tremendously.
